Treatment codes where the material and technical costs are calculated separately can be recognized by the * behind the code. Material and/or technology costs are charged on a one-to-one basis. You have the right to view the purchase invoice for the costs incurred upon request.
The dentist determines in consultation with you which treatment and which associated procedures he will perform.
The government (in this case the NZa) has set the maximum rate for the procedures; a dentist may not charge more.
The 2024 rate booklet of the KNMT (the Royal Dutch Society for the Promotion of Dentistry) has been published. This not only contains the services and rates determined by the NZa for dental care as of January 1, 2024, but also the associated General provisions and the Oral Care Regulations.
